Summer reading list

Where will your vacation take you?

If you ask my 8 year old, it’s Hogwarts…

As for my summer reading list? It’s short but sweet, I got a website to manage and agents to query now after all….

In no particular order:

-A Farewell to Arms

by Ernest Hemingway

-Little Fires Everywhere

By Celeste Ng

And for family reading time-

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

(my 9th time reading🤩)

What is your number 1, gotta read this summer?

  1. I read “Me Before You” by JoJo Moyes just before the film release. I had worked in an infirmary with patients who reminded me of ill Traynor. I really felt such emotion as I read what was going on in the mind of Lousia Clark and was fascinated at whole chapters from the perspective of other characters in their lives. Real emotional rollercoaster at times.
This summer I want to read “After You” the sequal by JoJo Moyes to “Me Before You”.
It’s rare for me to enjoy modern novels….I read the classics over and over, but JoJo Moyes always pulls on my heart-strings but she throws in so much humour and vivacious life…I can read and read her books.

  2. I’ve already finished my top five for the summer :(. But my number one, was “Us Against You” by Fredrik Backman. He’s by far my favorite, living author.

    1. Props man. I’m shamefully behind. Usually I’d have read a few by now but this whole trying to find an agent thing is the all encompassing obsession of my life right now.

      1. Yes, I read two of those posts, and they were very helpful. I’m just so inexperienced with it. I may need to research the very beginning.
